"Nice staff, just a bit slow with updates"
The staff at Sun Devil Auto were polite and seemed like they knew what they were doing. I had maybe 2 or 3 questions, and they answered them without being rude or short with me. The only downside was the communication. I had to check in a couple times myself instead of getting updates from them. Overall, it was an okay experience, not terrible, but probably around a 3 out of 5 for me.

"Honest and no-pressure experience"
They explained everything clearly and didn’t try to push anything I didn’t actually need. It felt honest and straightforward, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely recommend them if you want someone who’s easy to work with and not salesy.

"Super easy drop-off and pickup"
I dropped it off in maybe 5 minutes or so, and picking it up was just as easy. No hassle, no long wait, probably in and out in around 10 minutes total.

It took a bit longer than I would’ve liked, but hey, totally fine, I’m not annoyed or anything. In the end, they honored the warranty and got it handled, so I can’t complain too much.

"Straightforward quote and no surprises"
I really appreciated how clearly they walked me through the estimate before doing anything. They didn’t try to push a bunch of extras, which was a relief. In the end, the final price was right in line with what they quoted, so I felt like I could actually trust the process. Definitely a solid experience.

"Wish I had read reviews first"
I wish I had read the reviews before calling them. The tech seemed lost the whole time and also rushed through everything, which didn’t make me feel confident at all. Definitely regret going with them.

"Surprisingly decent place to wait"
I had to hang around while my car was being checked, i wasn’t expecting much, but the waiting area was comfortable. The chairs were clean, the temperature was nice, and it didn’t feel too packed or cramped. I still wouldn’t say I love waiting around at a shop, but this definitely made it easier than I thought it would be. Not a bad little setup...

I stopped in for a quick service and was happy to see how clean the shop was. The waiting area was neat and comfortable too, which I always appreciate. The wait ended up being just a bit longer than I expected, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d come back.

"Surprisingly quick and easy"
I was in a good mood after this visit because they got my car in and out faster than I expected. Check-in took a little bit, which was mildly annoying, but once that was done everything moved along quickly overall

"Service was fine, but the updates could’ve been better"
To be fair, the actual car service seemed okay, and I don’t want to make it sound like everything was bad. But the communication really could’ve been better. I had to call myself to find out what was going on, and the timing kept changing without much of a heads-up. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it was definitely frustrating and didn’t feel very fair as a customer

I took my car in and, the final bill was exactly what they told me it would be. No random extra fees or weird surprises, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a smooth visit.

"Pretty much what they promised"
I took my car into Sun Devil Auto and, they did the work they said they were going to do. The car’s running fine now, so I can’t really complain too much. Actually, I was relieved when I picked it up because everything seemed normal again.
That said, it did take longer than I expected, which was a little annoying. The updates weren’t super consistent either, so at one point I was kind of wondering what was going on. But then again, the price came out pretty much like they quoted, so that part was solid.

Overall, it was fine. Not some amazing experience, but not a bad one either. I’d probably go back if I had something simple that needed fixing, though I’d hope they were a bit better about keeping me posted next time.

"Pretty disappointing visit"
I went in thinking it would just be a quick, simple update, but it felt like no one really cared. I kept having to ask what was going on, and every answer I got was super short, like I was interrupting them or something. They weren’t exactly rude, so at first I was trying to be patient. But then it just got really annoying. Like, if I’m already there and asking for basic info, just help me out. I left frustrated and don’t see myself going back.

"Glad they double-checked the real problem"
I took my car to Sun Devil Auto after another shop said it was probably the alternator, and I was already second-guessing whether I was about to spend money on the wrong thing. They ran their diagnostic and quickly figured out it was actually a bad battery connection, not the alternator.

That definitely saved me from paying for a part I didn’t need. They explained everything in normal, easy-to-understand terms, which I appreciated because I’m not exactly a car expert. Overall, it felt straightforward and honest, and I’m really glad I went there.

"I brought my car in thinking..."
I brought my car in thinking it would be a straightforward fix, but the same problem showed up again almost right away. When I called back, I got bounced from one person to another, and it felt like nobody really knew what was going on.

They did say they could take another look, but by that point I was already out the time and energy, and I was basically being expected to just stay patient through their mess. I’m really not happy with how it was handled, and I don’t feel like the issue was ever properly fixed.

"Super Easy to Book"
I was able to get an appointment quickly, which was a nice surprise. The whole booking process was really easy and straightforward. I just wish they had a few more early morning time slots available.
